This is what lifestyle photography is to me. It looks like YOU, as you are. All the beauty you naturally possess. Your family being just that, a family. Loving, silly, playing and making memories. There is nothing forced, only the gentle leading of the connection which already exists.
The burke family welcomed me into their home and lives to document this new stage for them. My gosh what a beautiful home and space they had made. It feel warm, inviting, loving and humble, but just perfect in all its uniqueness. Meagan and I chatted about updates and remodels while I was there, and little Beau showed me his awesome playroom, and even his guitar! I was blown away that this little man was learning to play. Their home is filled with such joy and artistic ambition.
After this session, I immediately ran home to edit. Loving every second and image we captured, I could not wait to edit them and deliver the gallery. Once delivered I did something I have not ever done... submitted to a magazine for publication.
And guess what...
I was chosen! My images are published guys
That sentenced still sounds unreal to to write or say. But clearly we created some real magic together.
